63 on Bozeman craigslist

It's not a 63 but a 62 or maybe a late 61. The lack of a ashtray means it's earlier than 63 and the front bumper looks like it could be a early one. Very good candidate for a restore. Can't think a title would be that big a issue. It's looks to nice for a parts vehicle. Just to bad it don't have any top or front door part left. I'm believe to think Toyota may have sold enough of the no top models in the early years. That would explain why most this early one seem to be missing everything as far as top goes.

Looked again it has the eyebolts for the pintle hook and appears to have the locking gas cap. Couple of hard parts to find.

So Paul what ever happened to the other early soft top FJ40 you found? Are we still working on a deal on parts? What's it been about ten years now.:rolleyes:

Also has the early front bumper...so '61 or early '62???

For that price, I'd get it...too bad it would cost me double that to bring it home...
