62 cup holders on 60 console

Here's a pic of the backside. Right now it's only held on with 4 strips of 3M adhesive but has 4 screw holes. I think the screws will probably be necesary to guarantee a secure attachment. I don't think the adhesive along will get the job done but it will do a great job holding the cup holder in place while you install the 4 self tapping screws.
Here' a pic of the cup holder I made for the later console for the 60 and 62 series. This one actually fits great on the older 60 console as well so as long as it sits level with no gaps on the 62 console then I will be going with this design only. The only change on this one is the taper in the back. It tapers in 1" on each side on the back making it 2" more narrow to match the 2" more narrow 62 console. I am shipping this one out today for test fitting on the 62 console and will get picks sometime next week.
So I got pics of the 62 console prototype from @Kmonty66 today. Most dimensions are spot on and need zero changes. The only issue is the cut angle on the back. This cup holder sits about 4-5 degrees off from level. The same cup holder sitting on the early 60 series console sits perfectly level. I am going to raise the angle by 2.5 degrees to see how it sits. That will have it sit on the early 60 series console tipped up about 2-2.5 degrees and tip down 2-2.5 degrees on the later 60/62 console. 2 degrees is pretty darn close to perfect. Most cup holders in cars have a range of angle about 3 degrees+- off from level so I think that will keep us within an acceptable range for both consoles and allow one cup holder to be used for both. I already make the angle change and will get a new prototype made tomorrow and shipped out to kmonty66 on Wednesday. I will make sure this rear cup holder looks great on both consoles and works perfectly without issue on both consoles. Here are some pics of the last prototype installed.
I made the backside angle changes to version 3.0. It still fits great on the early 62 console. Hopefully it will also look great on the later 60 console/62 console. Here are some pics of the latest version. I'm pretty confident this is going to work on both consoles perfectly. Sorry for the speckled paint. My daughter (3 years old) saw me paint the prototype last night and decided to use her hairspray to help "paint" it this morning when daddy was in the shower. The prototype will ship out this afternoon to @Kmonty66 for test fitting. I should have pics installed on his console in the next few days. I will keep you guys updated.

Here is a side shot with a level edge. It's just a little over 1 degree off from level. On the early 60 console it will sit high in the back by about 1.5 degrees. The same cup holder on the later 60/62 console will sit high on the front by 2 degrees. That is more level than most car manufacturers and will allow the cups to be fully stable. Both are within spec of being perfectly functional and look visually correct.

I got pics today of the latest prototype. It sits a lot more level. It's right around 2 degrees off from level. The early 60 console will have it sit about 2 degrees tilted up and the later 60 and 62 console will tilt about 2 degrees down. Anything within that range will work perfect. Visually you shouldn't even be able to tell it's off by that much. Here's some pics of the last version on the later console. I did add another .5 degree to this last version which put both versions within 2 degrees of level. I am happy with the final version and how it fits/mounts to both consoles. I think it has a nice OEM feel to it and still allows clearance of the seat folding down. I pulled 6 machines aside tonight and started production on these. I will have these up on my website later this week. I'm guessing they will be available around Friday or Saturday.

I had a huge Australian order that came in Tuesday that took up most of my machines. I had to stop production of the new 60/62 rear cup holder for a couple days. I'm back to making them as of this morning but I wont have that large batch ready today. I will probably have to wait until Sunday before I release these on my site. Sorry for the delay.
I finally got a decent sized batch done of the 60/62 series rear double cup holder. I put them up on my website and on my etsy page. If it's an international order then you want to use my etsy page. All US orders can go through my website but can also be processed through etsy if you prefer. For the folks that do order them; please send me pics of the cup holder installed so I can get more pics for my site. I don't have any pics of this cup holder installed on the early 60 console except on my dirty test console which wasn't eve installed in the vehicle. I don't know if this batch will last minutes or weeks. If you see "out of stock" I will restock every couple days so just check back in a day or two. Thanks for the orders for the 60/62 Series rear cup holders yesterday. This first batch of orders that came in yesterday will ship out today. I have another large batch prepped and ready to ship out as well. This last batch will hopefully last a couple weeks.
The first wave of rear cup holders should have been delivered either yesteday, today, or tomorrow depending on how far it had to go. The few international ones should arrive some time next week. For those of you that got one in the first batch, PLEASE post pics of it installed so I can get more pics on my site. I especially need pics of the rear cup holder installed on the older 60 console.
Last call. I have now shipped out over a dozen of the rear cup holders. I'm in need of pics installed on the early 60 console. Of the ones shipped; I'm not sure how many went to mud members and how many of those have the early console, but hopefully there is at least a couple out there that can post pics here or just start a convo/pm and send me the pics.
