Thanks PM, but as much as I want one, timing is everything. I may get serious in a few years. Likely when values peak unfortunately.

Preference:
Gray-blue interior ONLY
White
Silver
Red
Blue

At these prices I wish I had my 62 back. Damn.

Nothing wrong with the transmission that I am aware if. Now, stacking gaskets in the oil filter gave the new owner some problems :(

Heard Michael Phelps got stoned and had a tranny recently...

Price gave me 3 quarts of Redline gear oil to put in my 60. It's got a little snick/grind going from 2nd to 3rd.

I guess the gallon of water in there wasn't helping.

This is why you ALWAYS baseline your Cruisers. I guess the guy I sold it to sunk it in a mud hole.

Live and learn. Off to Tractor Supply. All the 90wt is coming out now.

Yikes! That must've been a deep mudhole!

I've found that even though the 4 & 5 speed transmissions are synchronized, you still have to time the shift just right to make it slide in like butter.

Man who knows. All the rest of the fluids were good.

I got the new blower motor in and new 30a breakers.

Greased it up all around. New fluids.

Scary thing......it is using a little over a quart of oil per 200 miles.

That blows so bad. It doesn't really smoke that bad either. I just don't understand how the hell it could eat that much oil without a constant smoke-screen
