1989 FJ62
Jason G
Atlanta, GA
281K miles
Desmogged, engine & trans rebuilt, interior redone, rear end rebuild
Wanted a 4x4 toy to go play with my buddies, haul two dogs around, and camping

To be completed right away: replace all original hoses (there are lots!), valves, general tune up, front end rebuild (leaking pretty badly). I'm totally digging the two-tone "brown and champagne" paint as well.

So. Cali

Just picked up my first Land Cruiser. Not my first project but hopefully my first long term.

83 fj60 in off white. Needing to find an AC kit so I don't die from heat stroke.

2. Keith
3. Wife calls it "POS"; after some TLC she'll come around
4. 208K
5. All stock, for now
6. Just got it 3 weeks ago but plan to use for hunting, weekender, and bugout vehicle if it comes to that.

It was sitting for two years so I'm going through major mechanicals now. PS Pump is a mess, and I want to do a Saginaw conversion but doubting my ability. Great ride though with no rust and amazingly resilient despite the neglect.

Hello all. Brand new here and to owning a cruiser. Just picked this up for $500. Put in a new master cylinder and fixed a leaky tranny cooler line. Giving it a tune up this weekend hopefully. She's a bit rusty but it should be a fun project for my boy and I

^^^^ Bernie couldn't be a better vehicle for it and seems like you got a great "indicator" of what can be found out there. Can't believe he still even has the snake blinders!! What a beautiful example of a stock 60!

For sure! I got my one owner California Fj60 from my dad. It still has the snake blinders as well :D
When it stops raining I will pull her out of the garage and snap some pics for the registry

Approvals and back slaps all around!

The versatility of this vehicle to deliver us to mountain tops and continually pull drive-by head turns brings the FUN with every shift. At my age, I've earned the right to romanticize a bit, but this truck inspires and moves people. Heck... the weather outside even looks better from behind the wheel! Funny that as I approach retirement, I've now discovered my perfect carrier... TLC Chauffeur.
