New split t-cases being prepped to head to new homes.
Everytime I see these out of their respective boxes in the shop. I think I need to borrow one and hide it at home for a future rainy day project as they won't always be available. Of the 50+ split t-case variants that Toyota made over the years, we are down to just a couple that are still available.

What does the transfer case do? It takes the output of your transmission and lines it up (transfers) it to your front and rear axles. Additionally it offers the low range reduction gearing.
