Keep the Speaker Perforation or Eliminate?

I vote delete.
However, it would be cool if you could still beef up the underside to accommodate those who want to mount OEM hardware or are just looking for that OEM look. I'm thinking something like thicker crossmembers and maybe even pilot holes for drilling and locating a drill template on the topside. Admittedly this might only be used by a few shops and DIYers, but it shouldn't significantly increase your tooling costs.
 
I think the final decision was to keep the holes in place. There is a group buy for these dashes here:



The thought is to leave it as close to factory as possible. The metal stamped framing inside of the dash is going to be a direct reproduction, then the eurethane layer and vinyl outer layer are supposed to be stronger than what came on these stock so they will last much longer
