Now, I can't help myself ... I've added a few vanity shots!!

More info about your seats please!

Sorry I normally hang with the 80s crowd but just picked up a 60 and one of the first things that it needs is new seating. I love what you have in there. Please tell more!

The front seats are from IPOR and the rear seats were recovered with vinyl to match the front seats.

Yup, but the door gets smaller if I do.
The blank part in front of the door has to stay blank since the structural part of the C pillar is behind that, whatever size speaker you would want, would take that much room away from the door since the door has to get smaller to make room.
Make sense, right?
I tried a set with the speakers mounted on the plastic of the door, but I do not like the way that worked out at all, looks bad, puts extra wear on the hinge, is in an impractical location and makes an awkward situation of the wiring.

A heavy, awkward package just showed up today!!
:bounce::bounce2::bounce::bounce2::bounce:

They're so neatly packaged, I don't want to unwrap them till I can put them in. Hopefully that'll happen next week. Sure look purdie from what I can see though!!

I was thinking about taking a picture of that packaging job before it left. :grinpimp:
Hopefully everything made the long trip in good shape.

Don't know how the qp's are packaged (yet) but the tailgate packaging was a work of art itself. But like a kid at christmas ripped it to shreds before thinking of taking a picture. As usual Kevin nice and complete job.

Here's a few picks of the packaging. These were taken after a double-wrap of cardboard had already been removed.

One more with all the panels separated.

Ah well, at least they made it there all together. :p Which one of the latches busted?
I think my new policy will be to only ship the panels and tailgates separately, that bundle is too much of a pain.

Front driver's side. Perhaps cutting the cardboard tube spacers a bit thicker would help? (but it may have been a force applied to the door panel rather than right at the latch that did it) Yah, I was surprised how unruly the package was. Didn't look too bad till you picked it up, then booyah!! lots of steel in there.

Ouch, that hurts to see.
Shipping the latches was a problem right from the start, but there hasn't been a broken one in awhile. I also just changed the rings a bit again, they are a smaller diameter now and they sit just over the two tabs instead of around the whole latch, I think the right spot is protected now.
A new one is on the way.
Now get some photos of the panels in place, I haven't seen any of the seat belt version installed yet!

Ask and you shall receive. Kind of dusty, was out today, and the forrest road we came home on was like cement powder. Been pretty dry up in Fort St. John...

Bump

Wow with the new garage/house:bounce::bounce::bounce: and only 8 folks in front of me I better be thinking of a big package about christmas!!! I hope!!! Just pulling your chain , Doc

To tell the truth I think my friend/mechanic John was so impressed with the tailgate that he has just about refused to work on the BT till we get the QP's in place so he can see how much liner to put in the fenders, hasen't said as much but I see his wheels turning. Again tickled to death about your move and new acomidations and this is not in any way a prod. I am a Horse Doc and I use electricity for that(i know a cattle prod will move anything still with life in it). Hope all is well with the move and all the new products. Off my soap box and waiting patiently again.

Well, sitting down and trying to get things back in order after the move.

And I am realizing, I NEED PICS!

I can't build any side panels without a picture of the truck they are going in and I am kind of tied up waiting for pics.

So if you are on the list, especially near the top, send me a picture of your current driver and passenger side panels, preferably with the seat folded down.
All I need is to see the full outer profile, crappy pics are fine.

You can send them along to: kevin@wagongear.com
If you email them, it would be nice of you to re-name the image with your name to help me keep them all straight.

Or if it is easier for you, post the pics up in this thread.

I might have to start attacking this list in order of pics received rather than chronologically. :grinpimp:
So IndianDoc, that means you might get your panels before xmas since you really jumped the gun on your pics. :D

Taking pics RIGHT now and sending to you. MAYBE this will help my chances of getting SOME WAGONGEAR....gear!

EDIT: here ya go! BTW Line-X coming very soon.

Almost Joey. :D Usually I need to see the actual vinyl panels, in your case you mention the Line-x, does that mean you will not be putting the wheel well trims back in place?
If you are not, (which, more than any other sound deadening in the truck, will GREATLY increase road noise) then I do not need to see the panels.
