Good evening! Per an earlier thread, I acquired a 2002 LC w/ 80k miles about a week ago, and I just figured out yesterday (yes, just yesterday) that my 6-disc cd changer located in the center console is not ejecting (my LC has nav
- never been a fan of it...)
If you're familiar with this on the LC, there is a lid that opens with the press of the eject button, and that lid WILL open; however, the cartridge/magazine does not eject. Heck, I can't even hear any noise as evidence it is attempting to eject. So...any idea what could be wrong, or where to look first?
I checked with my local Toyota dealership, and they advised that $45 would be their diagnostic fee, and they would apply that to the repair/replacement cost if I chose to have them work on it; however, I would certainly like to do this on my own if at all possible. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks, Gents!
