Hey guys! I am in the midst of converting my fj45 pickup from a 3 speed to a 4 speed [after many YEARS of talking about it!] Anyways, after getting the tranny in yesterday and scrounging around the shop for drive shafts to fit, I came up with ONE that fit my specs.
47.25 end to end with about an inch and a quarter showing in the slipyoke before full compression. I think that this driveshaft is a STOCK FJ55 driveshaft from a 69-73 vintage pig with stock 6 and 3 speed. Before I go posting up in the classifieds for one, I was wondering if one of you could double check the length on a basically stock pig to see if my measurements 'stack up'
