This past weekend went up too Boone NC and did some camping. Good time with great friends.

How's the insect level with all those lights?
It honestly wasn’t too bad. It was kinda cool out so there weren’t too many out. And with the fire and smoke so it was chill. Would hate to see what it would be like in the middle of the summer.

Got the armor on. Also had to get new shock bolts haha. Decided to hold off on the kdss spacer kit. Still unsure if it’s worth it from hearing bad things.

I see one of those front skid bolt holes on the RLCA mount was on the weld. I had the same thing. Sooo many broken drills . . .

Badass build!

Been looking at the Alu-cab 270 - how do you like it? wondering if you think the cost is justified and if setup is as easy as advertised. Thanks!

I love it. Coming from a Arb awning to this. Definitely worth it. That Arb was honestly a two person set up. This one you legit unfold and done. And 9/10 times you don’t need to use the pole. 100% recommend it!

Got rid of rattling resonator. It’s just a tad louder but not really too much. But can tell a difference.

Also noticed a good size leak. @Taco2Cruiser told be about it when I was at Budbulit. Said it was the clamshell design leaking. But didn’t think it was that bad. So I’ll be calling east coast gears after the holidays. Definitely noticing the gear oil smell now

Well that leak got worse so it went to ECGS. They sealed it up nice and dry. Also bit the bullet and had them installed two new Toyota axles. Got the old ones back going rebuild them and have spares.
