What is the brand of hose you have connected to your overflow bottle? I want a red one like yours!

The red hose is a piece of scrap silicon hose I had in my parts stash. Do a quick search on ebay you should be able to find it.
That is not a OEM overflow bottle, so I have no idea what size you might need, Good luck! -Mark

Had some Smittybuilt adjustable jeep door limiters, cut them down to size, then fused the ends with a lighter.
Used footman loops to attach to fiberglass doors, and another one on the OEM FJ40 door limiter mounting hole.

Do a quick search here or on Pirate 4x4 forum. Bryan is a pleasure to deal with, I recommend him.

He even sends you a video of your engine before he ships it out:

Where did you source the motor

Actually no... but maybe today, and I'll report back. With the 31 inch tires I was seeing around 1300 rps, at 55..
Front shackle and bushings are shot - so it's a little scarry at 55.

had it out on the freeway yet? What kind of RPMs do you see at 60 MPH with the 5.3 and 4 speed and 33s?

thanks, just curious. Got a stock 2F/4 speed rig now, and wonder if the 5 speed (H55) is even needed with the V8....keeping the 4 speed would really help my swap budget. Getting over 60 mph is not really my goal, but being able to maintain speed at any type of grade and more easily getting my 33s rolling is the main priority.

I had the same questions.. was thinking about a 5 speed. Iam going to save the money now, there is so much power... it's scary.
No need to spend the extra $$$$. I actually has a 5 speed on my FJ62, it was great, but I hated the low first gear around town.

IMO the 4 speed is perfect for around town and the occasional highway trip... Even in my old FJ40, that had the 3FE... the 4 speed was perfect match.
