Isn't the Davez bumper just the trail gear bumper? I went to the site a while ago and looked, but my network at work wont let me go to the site for some security bs reason.

anyway, I seem to recall that he is just a distributor for trail gear garbage. I could be wrong, but I thought that is what I saw.


anyways, if thats the case, I wouldnt get it. Or if you had your heart set on trail gear stuff for some reason (probably budget), just order it from trail gear. probably save you some coin in the end.

No it is there design and it has a lot more bracing than any other on the market...that's the issue I have with others. They get bent real easy.
 
ok. cool. just wanted to make sure you knew what you were getting.
i would just go look myself, but i cant get to the site from work. our network blocks it (and a bunch of other stuff that i dont understand)
i'll take a second look at them when i get home tonight.

as of last week he hasn't even started building it yet.
i will give him a call today or tomorrow and ask about it.

well to be fair,
Adam did tell me, after I gave him my credit card, that there would be a few weeks wait as he is backed up. so there is nothing i can do about it.

but, two days prior when i was discussing pricing and addressing questions about the bumper with him on the phone, he said it was in stock ready to ship. so I was a little :o when i found out about the wait.
but there is nothing i can do about it.

not to mad, especially since i called marlin and they STILL have no rear bumpers in stock. A week after the month wait when they said they would. so its not like i could of had anything else by now anyways.

btw, is it just me or is marlin out of stock on everything always?!?!?! the only things they seem to have in stock are the really expensive once in a blue moon sales and the doubler kits. all of the popular items are always "out of stock with no indication of when they will be back". they need better suppliers or something.

I agree with Marlin statement....I buy my Marlin seals from other vendors. It seems he is more into wholesaling now than retail.

Anyways I hope to see you bumper soon.

As for the marlin talk, i ordered knuckle studs over the weekend. They sent an email to call them about my CC, so I have attempted to call them 5 times in two days and get a recorder/opteion to stay on the line. Ive done both. I ordered from them because I like to support marlin, granted it was 8 knuckle studs, but I can't wheel without them! Answer your phone marlin!

My 4x innovation sliders out lasted 3 knuckle studs. Would love for Adam to make me a bumper but shipping would be killer.

anyways, i have learned to call and ask if its in stock and if it will ship that day BEFORE i order ANYTHING. its kind of sad.

as far as the "huge" discount they are offering, its only 25 bucks on the bumper i ordered. (320 from 345). not even worth calling and btching about. i just want the thing so i can :wrench: and then:beer: whilst i look at it.

im going to let it go until after the holiday, then call and see where he is on it.
 
no bumper yet.
called last week and it was supposed to ship last week.
didnt get any calls or emails. now the end of this week, still have heard nothing.
