sweet set-up there B.

what's the :princess: think about all the new gear?

She's down with it...afterall...she may run into some pretty gnarley obstacles on that 4 mile drive to work. I told her I wanted to get a long range fuel tank next, she's excited about that cuz she won't have to ask me to fill it up as often (she has a gas pump phobia). Good thing these tanks only cost around $100 bucks:grinpimp:...I mean, how much can a little sheet metal box with a spout on it really be worth? In fact, everything on these trucks is quite resonable...my new rear bumper for example should come in right around $300 bucks;)

uhhhh....yeah....

Sounds like we at least have a little leverage on you buying the beer when we meet and your wifeskee is present :D

I'm taking the truck back up to Lukes today and leaving it till after Pismo. We had some issues that need to be worked out. Better update after Pismo

Two morons (one of them me) backed into each other in a parking lot yesterday and it appears I may be in the market for a new rear bumper. Any idea what Luke's version will cost???

Hey, Dieselbigot, I'm seeing updates of your bumper outside this thread. Looking pretty good!

Sorry guys...was kinda asleep at the switch on this one. I'm picking up my bumper from the powdercoaters today. Plan to install it tomorrow....I can't wait!

As far as cost goes, Luke will be selling these for $1,995. That includes 2 swing outs, tyre carrier, ladder w/ hi-lift mount and powdercoating. The gas can option and installation (if you need it) are additional. The cool thing about this set-up is that it's totally modular. If you want to remove the ladder and just run the gas can holder, no problem...just un-bolt & switch.

Cheers

Installed the bumper this morning...I'm VERY happy with how it turned out...looks bitchin! Here's a few pics...I decided to PC the ladder and tyre carrier black just to break it up a bit. I still need to pic up my gas can carrier and the proper bolt pattern tyre mount, then I can get my spare mounted

Looks like he changed the ladder design a bit, probably to fit into his "modular" bolt pattern for all the attachments. Looks sweet!

Hoser requested pics of underneath the bumper...I guess you could fit a 35" spare under there Les, but why not just use the tyre carrier?
