Correct. Cant use stock mudflats without butchering them.

Why does it say when purchasing with mud flaps or without, I bought mine so I could specifically use the stock ones but after building it I noticed there's no way and I'm a little disappointed, I bought my kit a long time ago but it sat in the shop for ever and now I'm kinda pissed and have to do so fab work for mud flaps

I think it says “Flares or no flares”, not mud flaps. Obviously if you are flare less then you’d want your bumper to be narrower. Nothing to do with mud flaps.
