If he'll let you unbolt at the cv spindle nut or the inner cv flange bolts (if he will let you have the cv's) then the knuckle arm attaches to knuckle.....then 4 bolts/nuts on the upper and lower balljoints... Pull out, put on your truck.

If he'll let you have the cv's too you wouldn't need the axle nut socket to get the parts home.

I would use the bearings from the donor (unless they are damaged) and repack them.

alright time for an update, i saw the truck, paid the kid 60 bucks and i can take whatever i want now.. i wasnt able to get anything off today due to the cold ass weather im experiencing... so im gonna go out there again tomorrow and i should be able to get the parts... it has manual hubs which is a plus, and now im finally gonna be able to have a skid plate and tow hooks, woo... im also gonna take a tire or two, czu i only have four and need another for a spare... but i will update again when i get the parts

ok, i was unable to get the cvs... but i did get the manual hubs, with everything unlike mine... i got the spindles, but the rotors are shot, and i found out today that the ruck has been sitting for about 5 years... and both calipers are frozen also...so now what to i do next... czu its gettin cold, and dark way too early so im probably just gonna wait till warmer weather to arrive before i do anything on my truck

If it was mine, I'd bolt up the new spindle use the hub off the donor truck and bolt up the rotor and calipers off of your truck, pack the wheel bearings and go for a drive. :smokin:

alright now... for those who remember this thread, its finally nice enough to work outside, so today i started to take things apart on my truck, and i went to get the tie rod end off and its stuck, so i used my air hammer to see if that would help, but instead it seperated the tie rod instead, so i pounded the two pieces back together... my question is would it be easier just to get a new tie rod end or should i use a torch??

update... ONE new knuckle in place, new upper balljoint, still unable to get the lower one out, so im gonna leave that one to a pro when i get the money, got a new tie rod rod end, but im havin trouble gettin the old one out of the sleeve... suggestions?

No, I think his problem is getting the TRE unscrewed out of the tie rod, the threaded tube. Correct?

Lots of rust penetrant, I prefer Kroil but its hard to find. Toyota actually sells one that works very well (Toyopeen), and PB Blaster works pretty good too. Let it soak, then some gentle heat. Lather, rinse, and repeat till it comes free.

all right, got one side taken care of, now im havin the same issue on the other side, once i saw the tie rod not wanting to move i just stopped and now im lookin for help czu i have no freakin money left to buy another tie rod end, so if anyone has an idea let me know!!!

im using the smallest fork i got, i got a kit with three sizes, the tie rod just doesnt want to disconnect from the knuckle... same issue i had with the other side, but the first side i did the tie rod ended up in two pieces, something id like to avoid!!!
