would a two jaw puller work?
Sometimes, only one way to find out.
Three is definitely preferable to two, if it starts to lean, your done.
Also depends on the construction of the device.

alright, two jaw was a no go, but i got an idea, would it be worth to try to take the arm the tie rod is on off the knuckle and just attach that to the new knuckle??
