Thanks Ocho. I’ll miss y’all.

Hi, just got my first LC ('19) & a friend recommended this site. I'm in the Detroit Metro area, and would really be interested in coming out there Saturday. Family has a place in Lake County. Still working out some logistics, but is this too short a notice?
No such thing as too short notice! We always have enough food and welcome everyone. Would love to have you and the family! Hope you can make it!

Alright,
The time is drawing nigh! Here is what I have counted thus far. Please, if your info is incorrect, let me know.

@69LC - Saturday - 2
@TCEd - Saturday - 2

@Mi60cruzr - Saturday - 4
@Sweet Water - Possibly Friday night - 1
@Ocho77 - hosting - 4
@RocketCityCrzrs - Fri/Sat - 1 or 2

Looks like about 44 from my count, plus I imagine we may have a few additional show up on Saturday. We will plan accordingly. Feel free to show up on Friday late afternoon if you like (earlier is fine, just know I will probably not be entertaining you - not that I'm good at that anyway). I may be working on house siding or framing windows...so if you have construction skills, please let me know and show up by 8am on Friday :)

Address is 6709 E. Dennis Drive. Once you turn on to Dennis Keating (the dirt road) we are the first drive you will come to, about 1/4 mile down the road. If you get to where the road splits and you see the lake, you should flip a u-turn. Can't see the house from the road, but the house number (6709) is on the mailbox by the road. We are also currently having a select cut done on our property, so there may be giant logs lying down by the road.

Cell service in our area sucks, depending on the carrier (as in it may be non-existent). So don't count on using it much. Also, if you missed the shirt order, my wife spoke with the printing company and they can take orders whenever, but they won't be done in time for the party. Also, they will put the logo on any item in their store, if you wish. If you are interested, let me know and I will get you the info.

Questions, shoot me an email.

Cheers,
Jonathan

There will be 3 in my crew. One is a five year old, and the other two just act five some of the time. We will be there Saturday mid morning. Greatly looking forward to it and I hope all of this pent up rain can hold off!

Does anyone have some stock sized 16” mud tires/wheels for a taco? Might need them. I have ATs.
Expecting mud Saturday?

Not sure what will happen with the rain. Currently showing about 50% chance of rain tomorrow, Friday and Saturday. We are planning on having the barn cleared out for food, rather than the deck. Just in case. Trail ride in the rain will be fun and memorable.

We'll be there but weather will determine in which vehicle we arrive. The windshield wipers don't work on the 40 so for local use I use a lot of RainX and pray. Not sure if I want to drive down from T.C. in that fashion. So......... we may drive this :

It rained all day yesterday, supposed to rain today, and it looks like a good chance of rain tomorrow.

We will have food and tables set up in the barn for eating/drinking/socializing.

reminders:
- bring chairs if you have them. We don’t have enough.
- bring rain gear (trails will be probably be muddy)
- bring a radio. Handheld HAM radios are great if you have one.

Should be a great time!! This is the first year we’ve had rain, and a lot of it. If you have a winch, that may be useful tomorrow.

We are picking up shirts later this morning, hopefully they turned out well. I’ve not seen them yet.

if you would rather text to get a hold of me, my cell is 231-923-8086.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Those turned out well!

Thanks everyone who came out. It was awesome seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Below is a link to a Google Drive folder where you are more than welcome to drop pictures.

Uploaded a few, looking forward to seeing more. Man we got lucky with the weather while we were together, we saw a lot of damage and white knuckled through some crazy storms on the way back to A2 last night, but the 60 was a rock and got a bit of a 'pre rinse' for free - off to the car wash this a.m. :)

Can't thank you enough Jonathan & Katie for pulling this group together and organizing a fantastic day, we absolutely loved it. Great to meet all of you, we're psyched for the next one!

What a nice group ! I have a bunch of photos I'll upload. We left the 460 outside and last nights and this mornings rain washed off a bunch of trail mud. Ed

Ok, help a knuckle dragger out. How does one upload to the Google Drive thing? I did try all of the options I saw after I opened it.

@69LC, you can drag files straight into the area with content, or in the upper left of the Drive menu hit the "New" button and select "File upload". Wish I caught pics or a video of the muddy rooster tails you sent skyward at every opportunity lol
