This truck has the stock inline 6 engine (runs fine), 4 spd tranny & transfer case, and stock axles. Rear axle is a full floater and has an automatic locking diff (Lockrite). Front axle has had disc brake conversion done with custom high steer. Tires are 36x12.50x15 Super Swampers mounted on alum modulars (leaky) and have 75-80% tread remaining. Interior is stock with the exception of a Radio Shack CB. Custom shock mounts on front with Rancho RS9000's on front only. Generic shocks on rear. The winch is not for sale and I will remove it before truck sells, but the custom front bumper will stay on truck. Recent carb rebuild. This truck is NO LONGER a 1-Ton as it has a custom suspension on it now. Headlights are Bosch H-4 replacements. Spring over axle conversion.

The body is swiss cheese as is normal with old Cruisers. Frame has soft spots near the rear leaf spring mounts but should be easily repaired by someone with good fabrication skills. Front axle is in need of a new axle seal. Rear brakes are the stock, manual adjustment type and are in need of adjustment. Drivers outer door handle is currently broken but I think I have the parts to fix it.

I love this truck and was planning on doing a complete frame up rebuild on it with a new alum body from Aqualu and a diesel/turbo/intercooler from my 1984 BJ-60. However, I don't have the time to do this and have other projects to complete. When it wasn't for sale, on two seperate occasions I was offered $10,000 (Canadian) for this truck in it's current condition, and I turned it down! If you want to make me the same offer, then it's yours.

Replace the front axle seal and adjust the rear brakes and this truck is driveable! It climbs like a billy goat and articulates like crazy. An awesome rig off-road!

This truck is listed on Craigs List (Kelowna). The truck is located in Enderby, British Columbia, Canada. Only serious interested buyers need contact me. Email me at dman-fj45@hotmail.com

1,500 and Ill pay you to drive it down to Idaho.

But really, that is an awsome rig, my dream rig really. If only I had 10 large.

pics of the frame... floor boards, under the hood, gotta have more pics than that if your going to sell it for 10Gs.....

saw another forty five on vancouver craigslist awhile back in better shape than your for 5Gs.... price might be a little steep.... try posting on BC4x4.com might get more interest...

cheers...

If someone gives me 10g's, then it's theirs.......However, I'm considering having an informal auction...make me a bid.....if I like the bid, then I will give you the option of 1st refusal. If you refuse, then I will give the next highest bidder a chance to buy at your bid price. Good Luck!

And by the way.....this truck has a clear title.

If that's the case, then you should consider taking your truck to eBay as auctions are not allowed on Mud.

That rig ain't worth no more then a couple grand, I'll give you 2mounds bars and 3 100grand bars. It ain't gold my friend.

Check again what I wrote at the beginning of the thread. On two, I repeat TWO different occasions, I was offered 10g's for this truck in it's CURRENT condition. Apparently those fellows thought it was worth it, I just wasn't willing to sell at the time.

I must say however, that I believe it is impolite to comment on someone else's 4sale thread what u think something should be worth. This is the classified section. If I printed an add in the classified section of your local newspaper, would you print an add right underneath it stating what you thought the value of my add should really be??? I think not. So kindly please refrain from doing it here. Thankyou.

Oopps....my bad! Ok, forget I said anything about an auction then. Anyone who is interested in making an offer can do so by emailing me at the address I posted at the begining of this thread. I'm sure that is kosher.

The fact that it's a 45 obviously increases its value, but I would have definitely taken the $10,000 offered awhile back. Any cruiser with a "soft" frame as you put it significantly lowers its value. I've gone and looked at all types of FJ's through the years and a repaired/rotted frame always made me cringe. I don't care who repaired it or how nice it curretly looks, a repaired frame to me is like owning a salvage titled car. It may look/drive like new, but it's value in the resale world is greatly hindered. Pair this to the fact that the body is toast really lowers the value. I would say this is a $5000-$5500 vehicle, and that's being generous only because it's a 45. This is only my opinion, and I'm sure you'll get some decent $$ since it's a pickup series, BUT this is mud and you WILL get peoples opinions!!.......and a good day to you sir.

I agree this truck is way over priced. But again, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I must have really bad taste.

I think the OP is Canadian correct?

so ....

10 000 Canadian dollars = 8 038.59 U.S. dollars

still a bit overpriced.
