Check your your distributor cap and also take off your rotor and check for looseness or cracks. I just had one on mine that had a cracked distributor rotor. It was an easy fix, but hard to pinpoint the problem at first.
 
O don't have an obd1 but will have one sent to me soon, I checked the cap and rotor and everything looked fine, like I said it has spark

Here, read this: 22RE diagnositics

It's for a 22RE, but the method is the same for the 3VZ-E V6. The "SST" is just a bent paper clip. You jumper the TE1 and E1 contacts in the Diagnostic connector, turn the key to ON (don't start the engine), and watch the Check Engine light. Very easy.
 
That if for ingition signal igniter/ignition coil circuit. You may want to check your fusible link at the battery if corroded they could fool the ECU. Also check the contidion of your wires to the distributor. The Ne and G terminals.
