Hello everyone!
New here to the forum but not new to other Toyota/Lexus forums. I purchased my 2020 Luxuary GX460 about 7 month ago and have slowly started to build it out. I come from a 2014 Tacoma which was then a 2018 4runner and now to the GX. I have to say that the GX is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Since I purchased it I maybe done the following:
20% tint on front windows and sunroof
Weathertech floor mats
Factory OEM cross bars

I just had installed a ICON stage one lift kit with new 17 inch Fuel Rebel 6 wheels in !after black along with BFG KO2s 285/70R17. I thought I could get away with 285s getting in their without having the rear coil springs along with a new track bar. I was living in fantasy land. Those arrive Monday and I will get those on to get rid of this nose high rake. But for the weekend I will enjoy it as is! I am looking forward to learning from everyone here! Here is a pic of my 4runner and my GX.

Congrats. The GX is quite possibly the best vehicle you can buy sans a full Land Cruiser / LX.

Once the lift gets finished on Monday I'll take a little break from spending money. Hahaha. But I would love to change out the OEM boards for some rock sliders and potentially a new bumper along with New LED lights for the interior. New years resolution is to get the GX to the point where I can start taking the wife and kids out and camping/exploring in the GX. We love camping and make yearly trips to Idaho tomvost friends where open land is a plenty. Want to be tomtsckle of that.

Welcome to club GX.

Where in Idaho do you visit? For the past two years we have conducted training at the Panhandle Overland Rally near Sandpoint ID. This years dates haven’t been published yet but the new location is 800 acres of private trails! Look for a late September early October time frame.

That sounds awesome! We normally go into Eagle and then start exploring after that. Tons of bureau of land management land out there where we love to get into.

That's awesome about the family camping and all, but you may want to consider a rack. As much as I LOVE the GX, when you stick a couple kids in, and stuff a weekends worth of camp gear, there's no place for the Mom! o_O
Getting a rack will:
  1. Give way more storage space, just be sure all your tubs/boxes are water/weather proof.
  2. You'll be set up if you want to go the roof top tent route.
Unless you're planning on an adventure trailer of some kind in the future.

Couldn't agree more! Forgot to mention the rack. I'm thinking victory 4x4. Right now we have the cross bars and a Thule box that we throw on top for our trips and it does the job. However, I do love the look of a rack and the ability to put more on top.

Consider Gamiviti racks. A little different, but in a good way. Very customizable and you won’t see anyone else with one locally. Also a vendor on here with quick lead times in my case.
Beautiful rig! Love the mods you’ve done so far.

Damnit! I have a 13 in Knight's Armor Pearl and I was dead set against black wheels and then you have to post these pics.

The rig looks great BTW!
I was in your same boat regarding the black wheels. I was thinking bronze at one point, maybe a titanium. But I saw these Fuel wheels and just loved them so I went for it. Glad I did!

Also Tim at Gamiviti is awesome to work with.
Love my rack!

Yep. I have been bronze / gold all the way until now.......

Rig looks great! How close are the brake calipers with 17in wheels on the GX460 platform? Looking at getting the black TRD Pro wheels this week...
