Why not add a twozone compartmet and have a combo of 40 liter freezer with a 21 liter fridge instead of a 60 liter fridge or freezer?

Because it would be too high. I like the 60qt because it has easier to fit dimensions

That's an interesting design.. Could probably work for a lot of folks.. but for people with a small cargo area or drawer systems.. it would be too high to fit inside the vehicle..

I think Cruiser Outfitters would be a good bet, maybe they will be carrying them in the near future.

I might ;)

Good to hear from you Kevin :D

Anyone know of a TwoZone dealer in the US?

THere is a guy on expeditionportal.com wanting to import some back to the USA.
I was very into it but the price is too high for me... neat idea but the top would be the fridge and main unit is the freezer so it's kind of backwards for me (I would prefer the larger space for fridge, smaller for freezer)

These are the same as the higher priced ARB units for much less!

A buddy and mine each just got one and am totally happy with them! Slightly dented but who cares!!!

Check it out:

Out of stock, bummer! That was a great price, too bad I was too slow... Oh well, thanks for the lead, hope you enjoy yours.

What kind of prices was he quoting (not to compete, just for my reference)?

What I don't understand about the freezer & fridge theory is the temp differences. TwoZone's site lists the temp difference ranging from ~4 degrees to ~ 18 degrees, not really enough temp difference to call on a freezer and one a fridge. More like one large really cold fridge... Make sense?

On the freeze it is, or would be close. They list freeze at -4F bottom and 28F upper zone. I think that's the only practical setting unless you just use it to increase capacity on 1 or 2

I'm suprised they don't have some kind of bottom with vents you can adjust or fixed settings to keep the bottom colder and the top at fridge temps.

Kurt,
The guy's name is flyingwil on expeditionportal's forum. He was going to bring some back while visiting AUS I think-he's not a vendor or anything, I dont think.
I am not sure if I am being out of line telling what he quoted- since he only told me in PM's so contact him. It was just too much $ for me.

I didn't realize you could sell them Kurt. If you have prices yourself, I'd like to know

I can't yet... but I might look into it if there was enough demand. Too be honest I don't even have a clue what they sell for, it could be $100 or $500 as far as I know, I havn't searched their site much at all...
