Does any body know of Lexus club in Arizona that they actually go four wheeling ? I have heard of Toyota club but I am not sure they welcome the R...headed step child (470GX).

Where are you in AZ? I'm in Tucson. We have a monthly meeting. Phoenix guys do too. The CSCers are always organizing trail runs. You'd have a unique rig in the club. I don't know of any built GXs in the club although there are a few LX450s. Just got a really nice 04 GX myself but it's stock and will probably stay like that for a while until I pay it off. Good news is I sold my 100 to my dad so I can still take it out whenever.

I am in Scottsdale AZ .I did check out the CSC club thank you very much they meet every third Friday of the month and about 13 or so miles from where I live which I will be attending .I bought mine at reasonable price and want to build it this vehicle I realize is very heavy I will never go extreme rock crawling like jeeps but like to have mild expedition GX .The first thing I did took those mini van running board off I wanted something nice low profile and could handle rough situations at the same time if I want to take Miss to dinner and have valet park it still keep that Lexus image so I found FAB shop in chandler AZ they build rock slider I told them I want R/S that does not need to drill holes or welding to frame ,low profile and does look like it is part of the GX so I had them built me a set of awesome R/C for my GX .they even jacked it up by the sliders and left it on top of tree log to proof to me it can handle it .next item I have asked them to build a beefy winch bracket that bolt on to frame that hides the winch in existing bumper and brush guard . I love those ARB but they are way too heavy and expensive .

LC80 since you are from AZ may be you know few good 4x4 shops that they know what are doing installing suspension .by searching in this site I have come cross few good ideas just need a shop to put the stuff on .thanks
Murf at Camelback Toyota could get it done for you I'm sure since it's basically a 4Runner. Their prices are competitive.

Sounds good Valeo175 .I am working with a local Fab shop and they are trying to make those covers for bottom of front fenders to cover up those holes where the running board were attached but nothing yet have you come up with anything to cover them ?by the way there are so many 470 GX's in north Scottsdale but I am sure none of them ever been on a Dirt road .

Are you going to get Lift Kit ? and if yes do you know any small shop that can work on these GX's and know how to install after Market suspension with out me emptying my bank account to pay them? Rc 80 mentioned some one in Camelback Toyota
I am going to go with the Toytec 3" I am doing all of the lift work myself. I am going to grab the metal tech lower spring perches for the rear. There is this place online you can get the upper FJ Spring isolators for 70 each. Everything else is really straight forward. These trucks are so easy to work on. It's crazy. My guy in Tempe is an aluminum fabricator. I will post the lower Fender flare cap as soon as they are finished. He needs my GX on Saturday. So I should have them by Sunday.

YOu have any ides what those flare Cap going to cost you ?
It's cheaper to buy the upper isolators separately and just buy the lower spring perch mounts from metaltech. The isolators retail for around $60 a piece: Toyota Part Number: 4830235040

I now have real appreciation for those that make fiberglass parts
we now been working on these fender cap for 2 weeks the original set has come out perfect just like factory could have made it but trying to make Mold for mass production that has been a challenge I am sure eventually will be done lets hope before the year done

I did not know any body make extender for GX's .I am sure it look real nice .I did some drawing how I like My GX to look this what came up with
