Has anyone checked into having a glass shop take a 40 corner glass and having it cut down to fit in a 45 i am only asking because i was digging around and was looking at some 40 glass i had the only thing i can see is the 40 glass might not be as wide but the curve looks about the same. with glass getting harder to find I thougjht i would check into what it would cost to have it cut down. Let me know if this has been tried save me the time if it wont work Thanks

Tmack in Missoula had some extras. are they no longer available??

Rob, IIRC, I tried laying a 45 glass over a 40 glass once to check and the arch of the glass was different.

the glass is tempered, so they can't cut it...and i'm guessing making it from scratch wouldn't be cheap.

you might try matt tarnow in iowa. about 20 years ago, he had shelves upon shelves of corner glasses. his email is midammatt@.....

from there, i don't remember, but someone here should now, if not, i can tell you when i get home tonight.

Any dealership that doesn't mind doing some homework. I had one place look at me like I was crazy for even asking. Call John at Toyota Dallas. He has sold me many thousands of parts. Tell him Gary said Hi.
