Hell, take em off and drive it. See if that helps the ride. You need them but it won't hurt for a test drive.

x2. Your shocks are toast.
I thought you were gonna clean up those springs and paint with slip plate. Doesn't look like that happened. Was there a change in plans?
I don't get this ride issue. My skyjackers ride almost too smooth. Ask Jrob. He drove my rig for a few hours at K2 last year and he was amazed at how it rode. I need to drive your 40 to see what you are talking about. All that you have done should have made that thing ride Ike a caddy. Also if the shocks are worn out then that should help the ride not be so harsh.
What shocks would yall buy with about 4 inches of lift for my truck? I think THAt is the problem.
I heard cheap........kidding.... im trackin.....thanks
Lee that sounds great. Ill pm you. Now get to writing about the open road!
Yeah tell me about it. He must have writer's block.![]()
Family issue. My Dad had another stroke. I'm camping in his hospital room. May not get back to writing until he's in the clear. I'll post a notice in my thread when I get a better fix on things.

Sorry to hear that. I hope he is better soon.
In our prayers.
So sorry about Army. That generation is so incredibly tough and resilient.
Don't worry about more posts. I might just wait till the book comes out. Hang in there, thoughts and prayers for you and your dad.
Thanks everyone. Army is a tough old guy for sure. When the ER doc asked how he felt, he said:
"The Germans couldn't get me, and the Eye-talians couldn't get me, and neither could the Japs so I'm not gonna worry about a damn stroke." (He's not politically correct)
Typical of him. I'm in awe of that generation.
