Cruiser Guy Builds a 100
BADASS!but just so you don't think the 40 isn't getting any love... her is the old girl (far right) on our annual Rising Sun 40's Only trail ride that I had the pleasure of leading again this year. We had 16 rigs on top of the world.

Okay so I need some input. I have a Slee second battery tray and was planning on dropping in a second battery with an isolating dual setup.
I took a guess I could get both batteries in the stock location (dual group 35s) so today I whipped up a custom battery tray. It fits and the batteries just fit. They just start to compress the hard lines above the DS headlight. I like this location as it cuts down on the amount and run of the wire needed to install the isolator.
I got the battery tray painted tonight but hesitated to burn it in. Is there any risk welding it straight to the engine bay? I can't see any reason not too. If I use this mount it frees up all the space in passenger side corner for a compressor and relays.
What would you do?
When are we gonna hit a trail together? The seasons wrapping up.
