So, I apologize if this has already been beaten to death but with your new approach to 2 separate prints is there a chance you will be redesigning the single plus cell phone holder in the same fashion? It just looks so good with the proper cut out for buttons, etc... Don't feel obligated for me a I am cheap and still on the prowl for some freebie landrover holders at my buddies junkyard but if they don't come up soon I could see myself buying the single plus cell at some point and time if you made it again.

The two part print would be quite a bit more challenging on the cupholder with cell tray design since it's not symmetrical. There is a company that just came out with a new form of "high temp" PLA that can handle LONG prints with no warping or cracking and can handle 400 degrees plus ambient temps. It's amazing stuff, but unfortunately STUPID expensive. It's $100 per one lb. spool. When the 1kg spools are in the $40 or below price range I will be able to afford it. Once the Chinese companies start making it, the price will rapidly drop. It seems to happen with every new type of filament. My guess is that it will be in a realistic price range in the next 6-12 months. As soon as that happens, I will be bringing back the cupholder with cell tray design. Standard PLA is just too heat sensitive for the interior of cars, and ABS is too sensitive to long prints. Patience will eventually get me the product I need.

A little heads up; I'm heading out of town early tomorrow morning for some camping and wheelin. I will not be back until late Sunday night. If anyone was considering a cup holder purchase they need to order it today so I can ship it later this afternoon or in the AM as I head out of town. If you decide to wait or put in an order this weekend; I will not be able to ship anything out until Monday morning.

Thanks for the order. It's all boxed up and will be shipping out tomorrow morning.

I now have 4 double cup holders in stock.

Excellent product!

Hey guys, check this out! I FINALLY got my website in place. It's less then 24 hours old and is a LONG ways from being done, but I at least got something up and now own the domain name. ETSY will be going by by soon. I'm sick of all of those fees. They have killed my profit.

Website seems to be having a problem:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ')' in /home/bh3dprinting/bh3dprinting.com/wp-content/themes/wootique/includes/theme-woocommerce.php on line 189

wow. That is worse then reading greek. I have no idea what that means. I was dinking around earlier in the admin setting. Since I am totally green at this website thing, I must have messed something up. I will see if I can fix it. If not I may be contacting you for help. BTW, thanks for the business. Your order will get shipped out first thing in the am and I used 2 day priority mail so you should have it by Friday.

Looks like the website is back up. now I need to focus on the layout and aesthetics of the site.

I finally got my new 3D printer all dialed in at it is awesome. It can handle 35+ hour prints without any cracking or warping of anykind. That means that my double cup holder is back to being printed as a single piece. My last batch is the closest I have ever come to getting an injection molding look. They look fantastic. I am VERY proud of these. I am also going to try and print the cupholder with cell tray tomorrow. I am very confident this new machine will handle it with ease and I should be able to get it back up for sale. The new website is www.bh3dprinting.com

Well the cupholder with cell tray is STILL a PITA. I have again had 3 out 4 prints fail. That print is just plagued. The good news is that I have doubles and singles in stock on my website at www.bh3dprinting.com and am also offering free shipping and a 15% off coupon this month to launch the new website. The coupon code is "bh3d15".

i just ordered a Double ! excited !

I was finally able to track down the American made quality filament from a local vendor for a better price. That has allowed me to lower my prices on the cup holders. the double is now $60 instead of the previous $70 and the single is now $40 instead of $45. With my current 15% off coupon (code "bh3d15") and my free shipping offer, this is by far the best deal I will be able to offer for quite some time. The coupon offer is good through the end of this month. I'm running it to help promote my new website. All my items can be purchased at www.bh3dprinting.com

Sorry. I tried really hard to find a reputable, reliable, and local vendor. It just took some time. The 3d printing world is exploding right now and due to all the new brands the prices on the "good" stuff is dropping due to the cheap Chinese crap flooding the market.

does anyone have pixs of the screws they are using to mount? is anyone sticking anything behind the plastic, like wood or metal to make sure the screw doesnt strip?

I used a 1" coarse thread drywall screw on mine. It had coarse enough thread to grab really well onto the plastic. The 3M adhesive is really the main attaching method. The screws are just the back up. From the feedback I have been getting, more often then not folks have been using the adhesive alone without issue.
