Last heads up. I still have one cupholder with cell tray left. Understand that it is the last one and I will not be making anymore. It's on ETSY now.

Got another small batch up on ETSY and ready to ship.

It looks like I'm getting another printer. The one I have been eyeballing for a few months is now coming down rapidly in price. The little bit i have been putting aside is getting really close to what they cost. I hope to get it ordered in September. That will allow me to double production and hopefully allow me to move on to all my other projects. I will leave my original printer dedicated to the TEQ badges and cupholders and the new one will focus on the "TOYOTA" badges, rear cupholders, and a few other goodies. Also, I just got another batch up on ETSY. I have the single and double in stock again. Still have the final cupholder with cell tray up on ETSY. This one is a perfected one and not a prototype. All the prototypes are gone except for the few I kept for some local 80 guys.

The last cupholder with cell tray sold last night. I have a few doubles and singles still up on ETSY now.

Still got a few single and double cupholders left on ETSY. Looks like orders are finally slowing down, which means I might be able to move on to my other projects.

so the last few cup holders are going up on ETSY today. I should be able to add one or two more by Sunday (assuming no failed prints) I should have 5 of each design up. I am going to take a break from these for a month or two and focus on my other projects. when I restart production of the cupholders, it will be at a much slower pace. Maybe 1-2 a week. Once I have ALL of my ideas finished and perfected and ready for production I will probably then switch gears and start posting all my products on other forums and websites. Hopefully by then my new machine will have arrived and be all dialed in.

This morning I removed the last double off my printer. I now have a "toyota" grille badge prototype on the printer now. I will get back to making the cupholders after I get these next 2 projects up and selling. What I have left on etsy is it for a while.

I have been getting some emails and PM's regarding me stopping production on the cup holders. That is correct; I have stopped production on the cupholders but not indefinitely. I apologize for the confusion. Once I get the FJ40 TEQ badge for the FJ40 guys up and selling and the "TOYOTA" grille badges up and selling then I will return to the cupholders. It may be a few weeks or at worst case scenario; a few months. I am not quite sure how long the "TOYOTA" grille badges are going to take me. I have stopped making the cupholders for now, BUT I still have them in stock on ETSY. I finished the last batch over the weekend and everything I have in stock is now on ETSY.

Sorry guys but the last double sold today. Once I get my current two projects off the ground then I will get back to making these. Hopefully it will only be a few weeks. I do have the single still in stock. etsy link is in my sig below.

I got the fj40 and FJ55 Teq badges all finished up. I also got fitment on the Toyota grille badges all done. I'm now working on aesthetics which means I don't need my machine.so Im having it do a small batch of cup holders again. the finished ones are now on Etsy.

I still want the double cup holder in grey. Please let me know when you get them in. Thanks,

I have them in stock now. I added 3 new doubles last night. I think one sold already, so maybe there is two left.

I finally got some pics of my latest double cup prototype. I have still not been able to get 100% successful prints with the double cup holder. It is still a 20+ hour print and my machine just hates that. I get about a 25% failure rate which has eaten up any profit I may have had. Even the successful prints often needs a LOT of sanding and acetone work to get them looking good. I havn't lost money on these (like the cupholder with cell tray design) but I havn't made money either. I finally went back to the drawing board and tried to figure out how to get this print under 12 hours. 12 hours is the sweet spot to guarantee no warping, cracking, or rough surfaces. I could just crank up the speed to 100% and increase layer hegiht to like .5 or .6 but the finished product looks like crap. It dawned on me that my best option was a two piece double cup holder. I could print one half at a nice slow clean speed with thin layers and get that under 12 hours and then do the same to the other. So I went into a redesign and this is what I came up with. I have made 4 of these and all 4 turned out beautiful. 2 of these have already been shipped out to members and the other two are on ETSY now. For the first time I have had to do zero sanding. They come off the printer perfect. The only extra work is that I now have to do a double acetone bath. There is no more warping or cracking of any kind. The seam is completely gone after the second acetone bath and final coat of paint. I am very proud of this final design and feel I MIGHT actually make a profit. (fingers crossed). Here's some pics of the process. The first pic of the two pieces seperated is right after the first quick acetone boath. I use acetone on all ABS prints (even when the surface is smooth and not needed) to melt and bond on the layers together. It makes the part significantly stronger. I then push the two pieces together and the tabs hold it in place and then do another longer acetone bath. This melts the seam and bonds the two halfs into one. After the final coat of paint I have a smooth single strong part.

I just got two more double up on ETSY ready to ship.

Just ordered. Thanks for doing these.

thanks for the orders guys. I was sold out as of yesterday, but I was able to get a couple more up late last night. I hope to have 2-3 more doubles up by the end of the weekend. The ETSY link to the for sale page is in my sig.

Everything is in stock once again.

Thanks for the orders from this weekend. Everything got shipped out yesterday so you guys should be getting your cupholders by mid week. I got one more double made last night and one is finishing up right now, so those two are now up on etsy.

Back up to 3 doubles in stock and I think 5 singles. Hopefully that will last a week or more so I can take a break and get some down time and family time in.
