I have a 79 fj40 and was looking for stock steel rims.(it had 15x8 white spokes) by the time I find and ship the stock steelies and buy new caps I figure I'm in it for 325.00+. Then the stock rims are only 5.5 in. wide. These factory 82 rims are 1/2 in wider and will help out some with the wear pattern on my soon to arrive new set of bfg 33-9.50's. I want a stock look and have tried my stock fj60 rims which are identical to these except that they are chrome. If this doesn't work out i'll probably put some of those e-bay 15x8 eagle 058's on my 60 and mount my new rubber on the stock chromes I already have. 250.00 is steep for used rims but it is a complete package only needing some paint and of course a spare rim to match. These things are never complete are they?
