4 speed hard to get out of first gear ?????

Yes. Just get it through the top with a large screwdriver or equivalent and pry it back in line. It should snap into position and then stay there if it is working properly.

Ok, I did that re-aligned it. still hard to shift into second. i have to rev it high for it to go in. if i just shift normal it grinds. Im thinking now synchro gear is bad.

Does it also grind when going from N to R? If so, then the clutch may be dragging and needs adjustment.

Try adjusting the clutch by lengthening the push rod.
