That sure looks like more than the OME medium. Time for some 35's.

FWIW, I have not noticed any difference in gearing going to the 35's over the 33's. My ride home gains 1,000 feet elevation over about 10 miles from 6,400 to 7,400 feet, and it maintained speed as poorly on 35's as it did on 33's. I didn't notice any difference except maybe that in PWR mode (which I never turn off) it held the revs longer with the 35's, which is better at this elevation.

OD off runs a cool 2,800 RPM @ 70 mph (was 3,000 RPM on the 33's). As I expected from previous experience doing the same thing, the 35's are actually a better match to the stock gears than the 33's were. Where I really feel it is in the brakes. I have the slotted fronts, but she stops like a built rig now...

Looks great Ben. When you get a chance could you measure the rear from hub to flare. With my Slee 4" the rear is about 1 3/4" taller than the front. Just wanted to know the difference.

Darren

Front is 24" from center of hub to bottom of flare
Rear is 24 1/2" center of hut to bottom of flare

And the rear after 4 35" Trxxus in there....24" level and those tires are HEAVY and not fun to lift that high!

nice level stance.

Standard ride height...I"ll get my new tires mounted at lunch...

The new meats are on...They are perfect for this lift...very nice, smooth riding even tho they took a chunk of weight. This is with 4 285's tires in the back

I don't think they're IROK's . :flipoff2:

Ben .. SWEET looking rig now man!!! Can't wait to see if you put the 1.5" spacers on down the road .. fatten it out to adjust for the height etc. Since I took care of that detail my 80 puts a s*** eatin grin on my face everytime I walk up to it :D

Looked out in the work parking lot today to see a 4Runner pulled up next to the 80. Went out and chatted for a while .. told my coworker 'it's a toyota thang .. '

Now lets see that poser flexin mang!

Yeah I'm definitley thinking about the spacers, it doens't really need them but I think width would always help.

I definitely need some poser flexin shots...BUT....i have got my bumpstops on yet...and would rather not destroy my shocks posin' ;) I 'll have some poser shots of flex on monday.

Ben, if you need some serious input on lighting and shutter speeds etc on your poser shots, I'm your guy! ;p

Personally I like the fact that the front doesn't flex as much. This tends to avoid the "tail wagging the dog" effect. With the rear flexing more and easier than the front it will follow the front and give a better control feeling to the driver.

But to each his own, I built an exhibition setup because it was more about the destination than the ass raping to get there.

Nice T Y, nice.
