Is there any room for an RV at the camping site where everyone slleps and parties? I don't have a tent or any gear for that matter. I don't need much power, and promise to not run the generator all night.....

Sure

one thing though...you have to get it there. there is an entrance from a road around back, but sometimes that is rutted out and muddy. But the way everyone else gets up (including carl toying 3 rigs!) is the hill...

Im sure we can get ya up if you cant. Run a winchline up the hill to a tree, strap to the rv and go nuts. Or your welcome to leave it in the lot and commute about 2 min to the camp site....
 
Do we need to sign up of pay anything in advance for this weekend?

And please define impaired. I might be there without beer.

Rock lights? No clue as to where to instal these things on a 40. Time for someone to post pics of what and where.

I missed out last year but I should be able to make it this time. Had a blast my first time in the dirt.


I followed this guy the whole day, he made it look easy.

Bluedog, you won't be disapointed. Last year was even better than the first and I had a blast on the first year!

That's the plan. I am also going to attempt to make a trip to the UP with a group from Expedition Portal in late August.

Little Update

So far things are going well, and turn out looks to be very good! Gas prices hurt turn out last year (35 rigs vs 65 rigs in 2007).

NWITaco is working to get a t-shirt designed and printed (screen print I believe). If you are interested PLEASE post up. I need to see if this will be worth while. Right now im thinking 10-15$/shirt.
 
I'll definitely take a shirt in 2x for my fat ass. I think Vicky would like one if there was a jersey or long sleeve option.

Goebs, So lets see a pic of this RV. I have been looking into trailers, RTT, pop ups, CDN M101...

Here is the beast. It's an older Bounder I scooped up a few years back for weekend trips and have not used it all that much. It's a blast though.
Not all that much roughiing it, but it sure makes it nice after wheeling all day!

I think you be dragging that back end just coming out of the lot to get up the hill, but if you bring it I want to watch.

Hmm, maybe a few of could bring campers and just sleep down in the main lot? I wonder if if I could plug into the juice at the old "snack-shack".
