good morning, I've been around these all my life through family or friend ownership.

I bought one cash not too long ago, but had to take a loan out to pay for fuel ;)

1992 FJ80 I just got done replacing cylinder head, complete knuckle rebuild on front axle. I have had 4 runners and 1st gen Broncos but finally stepped up to fj80. Hopefully lockers, lift and 35's next year!

Yep I've had a 1991 3FE for a couple of years now. It's ex Japan with electric lockers and 170,000km on the clock.
I'm running a 4" dobby spring lift, 45mm 9 stage adjustable TD shocks, Ironman front bar and 12,000lbs winch. All the non essential bits like aircon etc have been stripped out to try and keep the weight down.
I need to complete the de-smog that you guys talk about, so might be looking for some advice on that.
My FJ62/1uz-fe project is currently at a standstill... too many toys and not enough time!

3FE Collector checking in...

My name is Jason, I'm 16 years old, and I'm from Western Colorado. I have three 1991 Toyota Land Cruisers, and my father has one.

Currently one is my DD, one is in need of a head gasket, and another one is being rebuilt and possibly chopped up.

My daily driver: (235k miles)

*EDIT* Forgot to post odometer readings

I'm currently looking for a 3FE engine, parts or complete. If anyone has one, let me know.

@jasconc love to see young kids that appreciate the 80 and specifically the 3FE. Search for the thread "plasma cutter and some duct tape". Not exactly what you have planned but he uses an 80 chassis and frame... Pretty cool.

I hate to see 80s cut up but to each their own. I can't blame you any. For the record you can import any of the 70 series when they hit 25 years old. Not incredibly difficult.

I've looked into importing but it's prohibitively expensive for me. Maybe in a few years, but for right now it's a no. The 80 that I'm planning on cutting up has a massive hole in the block and was sold for parts, and has some body issues going on. PO was about to scrap it, so I bought the entire truck for $320, and instead of fixing the back half of the body I figured I'd just cut it off. I got it for so cheap I can actually afford to have some fun with it [emoji6]

Hey everyone. Figured this would be a good place to introduce myself. Just got my first 1991 FJ80. It has257,000 miles and still seems pretty healthy. Besides the snorkel engine seems stock. The EFI relay has been relocated.

Bolt ons custom rear bumper, full roof rack, 12k winch, 100 series center console, backup camera

That's a good rig @Dimples. It was recommended to me to buy since I love 3FEs. Congrats.

I love that roof rack, and I'm really intrigued by the 100 series console. Could you post a picture of it?

That is a 93+ console with the factory leather option not 100 series.
Sorry for any mos information. I was just quoting the person I bought it from. He said he got it out of a parted out 100. Didn't mention the year or trim.
