FYI ... This is a 10 year old thread. For an FJ62 I'd be looking for a turboed HZ or a 1HD-T variant both for driveability as well as part availability.

I’m Canadian There are some dead BJ 60s that pop up every now and again. It’s the cheapest and a easy motor for me to get around here.

I have a 1981 BJ44. I love it for off road. I would not want it for a daily driver .
I get about 23 MPG. Top speed with a 4 speed is 65 MPH downhill.

It’s not 3B.
