Hey Guys

The aux tanks are finally done!

We had some very cool high clearance 37 gallon aux tanks made by a local race car builder.

They are done and ready to go!

These are too big to ship UPS and we are unable to ship truck freight @ this time, so we are posting them locally first.

The first batch we had 6 made, but only have 3 left.

Info about them: http://www.bajaoverland.com/37gallon.php

Link to buy one: http://www.bajaoverland.com/cart.php?m=product_detail&p=244

Let me know what ya think!

Great work Kevin! I know that once the shipping across the lower 48 is figured out, you are gonna have some happy mudders. Looks like a great market you tapped into. And above all, looks like you did it the right way! Yet another bummer about living back east now. One day though, I have a feeling a truck will be able to bring one to me....keeping fingers crossed.

nice that you tackled that job.

what's the situation with the sending unit, filler, and all that?

any way to get a feel for how low these things would be wrt to the floor or frame?

As far as what? Sourcing them? Those parts would need to be sourced by the installer.

Its all spelled out on the site if you took 2 mins to read it! :flipoff2:

well, didn't see anything about the hardware needed and height. Maybe going blind?

Kevin:

Very nice, can you say hella jealous? No dice with my 4x4 labs bumper though. Let’s do a press release on it. It’s not so much about advertising the tanks as it is a way to get press on your company and drive traffic to your website. It’s simple, one high quality picture and 50 words or less. I can e-mail you an example of one if you need it.

Kevin,

Do you have any pictures of one installed?
How'd you come up with 37 gallons? Was that a target volume, or what you ended up with based on clearance?

This is my 44 installed, just lop 2 1/2" off of this and there ya go! :D Install pics after the holidays!

We used the 44 as a template and took some angle out of the bottom plate to make it higher clearance. This is what we ended up with. Its actually closer to 38, but i dont want anyone feel robbed! :D
