Ok, I was given some bad info. I just checked and this is the email I got back.

We have a few spots left for the Enlisted Teams. There are also openings for the Pro-Class teams. Enlisted can register on pltoffroad.com

If anyone has questions they can email me at pltoffroad@gmail.com

Thanks,

Jon and the PLT Team

I just sent them an email. Depending on what they tell me I might still be searching for a team mate.

So they emailed back and confirmed what I was already tracking which is that they have 3 enlisted slots left.

Please disregard. Figured it out. Google maps to the rescue.

I need some scientific input. We have the izybreeze ordered. Please provide input on which ice to use. We have a source for dry ice but are concerned about C02. It would be on while we sleep in the tent.

Secondly, I have 86 way points from Uwharrie. These are all the challenges from last race and all entrance and exits for all Uwharrie off road trails. I am happy to share these with club members if they need them. They are in excel file. I also included forest road intersections.

We are using LeadNav this year so hopefully the gps stuff will be easier.

Swamp cooler that blows air directly over the ice? Will you be in a tent with fresh air or a small enclosed space?

I'd use regular ice IMHO, but I've never used a swamp cooler before.

I would think that you'd have to use SOOO much dry ice, so quickly for it to be a problem with CO2, that your truck would look like a whitesnake concert. Just googled the icy breeze - I don't think there's any air exchange from the inside of the cooler - so Dry ice should be fine - it's a water cooled setup - small radiator in the cooler, small water circulating pump, and a fan that pulls air from the room and back into the room.

Ya know, a $20 cooler, $5 computer fan, $5 battery, $5 worth of hose and a couple of hole saws and you coulda saved $200 on that icy breeze...

2 days to go.

Possible RAIN makes it very interesting. ;<)

new 37 KM2s hopefully will help and full armor and a winch and a boat and a rain coat...

Spotted near GA/SC border off I85 on my way back today, the combo of jeep and canoe screamed 36 hours! Anyone you know?

Do not. Will be there at 9:30.

Trying to figure this new schedule since we end on Saturday afternoon.

Thunderstorms for Friday make for an interesting event.

Kick some ass, Andrew!

Thanks guys. Locked 80 on 37s makes a difference. ;)

Only cruiser here.

One first gen 4Runner and 1st gen bronco. Everything is a jeep of some sort.
