35's and AHC ... too bouncy now?

Haha the 200 section is the only one that has these tire pressure arguments... Maybe that is a good sign that the 200 is so good that there is nothing else to argue about. lol
1st world problems, eh?

Are you running perry bumps on all 4 front mounting points? You should only need 2.

Yes, PParts; yes, all 4 fronts. Here's my offset (see pics in next post)... which is partly why. I'm nervous about the Falken's trying to eat my fenders.

Also, Turbo8 ... I JUST LOVE my low profile recovery points! You're another vendor I totally think is underrated and I'm extremely grateful for your wealth of knowledge and products. Again thank you! Glam pics "IN COMING!"

Glam shot for the EE boys! Thank you for your products!

Some pics of current offset I’m on methods 18x9 @ 25 offset. I bought custom spacers from Bora but don’t need them. This set up clears all the stuff “inside the fender”. Once I get bumps right I’ll let you all know if I still have fenders.

You only need two. Keep the factory hard bump stops on one position if you are really worried about it, but don’t be.

Thanks for the pics. Glad you got your ride sorted out and it was an easy fix.

Truck looks good! Are you currently running a spare as well with that size?

also curious question, can you get pics of your CV angle at normal ride height? im curious to see how much it changes from non sensor lift.

VWynn, go ask MTKid. It's his lift kit that he's developed with some of the more extreme LX guys from his area. They're all on Mud but they're not a boisterous group IMO but they'll have the deets for you. Also, you can follow this thread (see below) to get even more of the details.

Search for: NST Spec Body Lift Kit

Regarding the spare tire, I don't have one right now. I'll work with Stellar Built down the road to get a spare on a bumper. Currently I run a patch-n-plug kits and a compressor. Rolling the dice a bit I suppose.

Looks good. And yup I got the NST 1inch BM spacer, e&e front and rears. Just to get some aftermarket wheels before I commit to install lol

Sounds like a great build so far. Lot of aftermarket wheels to choose from. A bit of choice paralysis for me. Good luck and post those pics!

I have a stock 2021 with 35s on it and it’s not bouncy. In fact the ride improved coming from the 21s. I’m running 36 psi in E rated KO3s.

I didn't pay attention to this earlier. So you have two rigs now? When did this happen? I missed the news.

Well, I did. I sold the 2008 recently, picked up a 2021

I feel hijacked.

Back to my other issue. I ordered wrong pump stops. Replacements coming. Will report findings after swapped.

which bumps did you get from PP in this picture? And which did you get to correct your issue?

Asking because i first purchased the "AHC Equipped: 41 mm" but i thought i picked the wrong ones because of how small they were when my plan was to do spacer lift + Sensor lift at the same time. This lead me to purchase "-1/4" Up-Travel: 52 mm" as recommended by Perry themselves. Im not curious if I made a mistake and maybe should have ordered the middle one? "OEM Up-Travel: 45.3 mm"

Thoughts?

Do you mean body lift and sensor lift? Or just adding spacers with the sensor lift for AHC pressures?

In the rear at least, the long travel PP bumstops are ONLY for rigs with a relocated lower shock mount. If you've just got coil spacers, you want the "standard" AHC one. Regardless of sensor lift or body lift.

Second on this!

Granted this is on the 300, but I'm running the PP AHC height front stops with great success with my 35s (285/75/18).

I did not have success with the rear mounts and moved back to OEM.

Sorry I should have been more specific. Fronts will have E&E 13mm top hat spacer and rear will get the E&E rear shock spacer. With this combination I aim to max the sensor to get it at normal operating pressures, hense why I aimed to get both extended feont and rear bumps from PP.

I'd imagine only needing to extend the rear then. I'm not on AHC anymore, but fwiw I've had great success with the PP extended rear with my 3rd gen sequoia 6100 rear shocks. They're about an inch longer compressed (and extended) than anything aftermarket for the 200 series, so probably somewhat similar to using the rear shock spacers with AHC.

You want the smaller spacer on the LX if you do a body lift kit. The longer ones are designed for when the suspension is lifted. For example on the longer ones I order, when we did the body lift, the vehicle was riding right on the bump stop. Even parked it was engage or just 1 mm from engagement. So these will be too long on a stock LX or LX+body lift.

Also, double check with Perry. He's great.
