Only problem is the single ram hydro ram is ruper sensitive on the road so steering adjustments need to be well planned :D

where are your taps from? i run a single end ram, no twitchyness at all. . .

I'm using a Toy IFS box with a modded chebby pump.

Fully hydro, yes.

The double rams perform better at speed than the single rams, but I hate the way they have to be mounted with all that crap around them so they will survive.

Single ram is nice and compact, but it takes some getting used to.

I like my behind the axle double ram with full hydro. Super smooth, easy and not terrible on the street.

I DO wish I had a box and assist though sometimes. My rig is surprisingly streetable and would be fun to be able to cruise down the highway in at over 55.

No idea. Space is undoubtedly tight though.

If you look at the bottom pic in py post above, you see how it could work for you. but i agree that it would be tight at that ride height. . . Mine's quite a bit higher than yours. it would probably need yo uto re-locate the ram too.

hi all,

i posted under the '40 & 55 series' enquiring about frame swapping between a BJ40 & a LJ70 (BJ40 replacement model in non-USA markets & coil-suspended).

If converting a BJ40 to coil suspension, a LJ70 series Land Cruiser frame could be a good swap to achieve the coil suspension goal as the wheel bases are the same if i'm not mistaken..@ 92"

i'm not an expert on this subject as i'm contemplating doing it myself on a BJ40...hopefully with some feedback from forum members here.

Of course nothing beats a purpose-built rig with 'perfectly' dialed-in geometry if most of us had the time & $$$ .

like to know whatcha fellas think :)

Thanks in advance :)
