Because the Koyo doesn't cool as well as the TYC. I've had both, and seen the results when multiple 80's were tested with both. Also, I have yet to have a TYC fail structurally.

I've had two fail, so ymmv

I’ll trust Tools experience and rec on the TYC.

Koyo had an irregular crimp on upper tank. Diid not leak, never felt completely comfortable with it. Got a TYC, linear crimps on upper and lower tanks. Cooling was slightly better. Not a massive improvement.
