Which is better? Pro's and Con's of each? Where can I find simple to understand explanations/instructions for doing your own? Thanks.

3-links can be easier to package, but all the load is on one link and brackets, as opposed to 2.

They behave similarly.

Thanks guys. This is for on a LJ-78 and what I want to do is put my FF axles on the LJ keeping the coil set up. What about using the factory links, making brakets to mount the links on the FF axles, maybe even doing a "link over"? Mount the links on the top, both for clearance and automatic lift. The goal of this is not to make a monster flex machine, but a robust set up and comfort and decent flex.

The rear 4link + panhard from a 80 series have a decent flex ( without swabar ) and thought it's pretty stout

The rear on the LJ-78 is basically set up the same as the front, like the front of the 80, the only difference I can tell between the front and back is that the front shock is mounted inside the coils, the rear the shocks and coils are seperate.
