2UZFE FJ45 (1 Viewer)

I am trying to swap a 2uzfe motor into my fj45 with the stock 4 speed transmission and split transfer case. Has anyone on here done this swap into a fj45 or 40? I would like to see what it is going to take and what parts I need to make the swap? I think I found most the parts on cruiserparts website.

What's the reason that you are wanting to go with the original 4 speed transmission? There are a few other manual transmissions with better support and better gear ratios out there. I would look into the toyota R150 5 speed or H151F 5 speed.

The reason is mainly financial. My 2F went out, so I am considering to swap the 2uzfe in using the same transmission, and assuming I could install an H55F transmission later down the road with the same setup. I am not very familiar with the R150
