Very nice. I need to look into this. Just dropped $500 for 3 days in a cheap hotel because I don't have an adequate set-up in the back of the LX to sleep comfortably, which wasn't an issue with my 4th gen 4Runner. Admittedly, I didn't push the DS front seat all the way forward but still, that slope.Finished up the platform today. I took one of the wing covers into a marine supply store and “matched” the carpet to a sample blotch. It is definitely darker, not as many silver grey fibers, but the quality is good and it was half what ARB was asking for a 4’ x6’ piece.
Underside complete.

Fun project and the part that I feared the most, applying the carpet, went down rather smoothly. In retrospect I didn’t do as well taking the thickness of the carpet into account and probably could have used 3/8 ply rather than 1/2”. There is the slightest lip transitioning from the ARB drawers to the platform. Under the sleeping pad I will never notice it.

Thanks for the kudos. Yes, still running AHC at 206k. I’ve swapped fluid 3x in the last 100k and while each time I notice a ride improvement immediately after, I think the globes are due for replacement. And I don’t think I’ll do that. I hear the Dobinson wide body shocks are where it’s at.Very nice. I need to look into this. Just read thru your thread on OE. Are you still running AHC?
