First and most important money factory ..

1. New Axle ( Corporate 14B ) means here around 400 bucks ( with 4.56 and detroit )

2. New Axle ( 14B ) needs rebuild that are about 250 - 300 bucks in seals bearings etc ..

3. 14B FF are 8 lugs means new wheels .. or spacers to 6 lugs .. means more money on it.

4. 14B loose clearance so to compensate .. new tires .. ? I think in bigger .. so 42" TSL :D

5. 42" TSL rears .. and what to run in front to handle 42" .. ?

At the end it looks like I would need much more money to swap the rear and keep the actual performance ..

I found that with 12" of clearance I can go most of the places here and still drive my Cruiser long distance to reach the fun .. and no need to towing it.

I thought at the end it's a matter of kind of off road that we do down here ..

Sounds like a good decision and I (like you already know) think you wont have any problems out of those axles.

If I need to start all over again .. I would do over a Cruiser frame, LS1 / TH700R4 / D300 ( with 4:1 gears ) / D60 Front & 14B rear / 42" TSL / 4.88 / Detroit Locker :D

But that's not my reality right now .. that Include plans for a new house .. ( wife plans ! )

This forum sucks ! ( when you are married ! ) :hillbilly:

It is easy to see how chains are much better then (for example Buggers) I didn't see in any picture what i would call mud, but instead, very wet and greasy compacted clay.

So when are you gonna drive tencha up across Mexico and into the US?
