I spoke with Mark and I plan to pick him up at DFW airport on Thursday evening. We'll drive into Elwood the next day about noonish. I may drive back home if it's scorching hot, just to sleep in the cool. ;-)

Anyway, if anyone else needs a ride out to Elwood, let me know. I will help get folks back to DFW as well.

Susan, for as much as the rest of the family would love to see the three of us and all our gear smushed into a PT Cruiser like the proverbial clown car, I think we'll leave the grand entry up to the bread truck and come up with some other Kalifornia Koncoction to make 'em remember us by!:grinpimp:

I've got an offer from Nick that will get me into camp noonish Friday. If anyone could get me there Thursday night, that might be nice too.

Well boys I done made it through that surgery! I tell ya, it weren't no fun! I guess when the doc's split ya gut open it's bound to hurt for a few days. My wife said that she didn't know I could talk out of the side of my neck but the meds can work wonders. Wonder what she found out about me when I was under? Oh well, she is still talking to me so that's a positive!

Can't swing that this time. I'm off work till the end of the month and if they found out I went to TX on my convalecent leave then I would have some explaining to do. Wish I could. Definately next year! Saw the art on the shirts today. They are gonna look good! Chad is printing this week. Kowboy, PM me a shipping addy.

The winch and the t-shirts are both underway to Elwood (via Baker Tire of course). :cool:

Bossman made me stay another week here in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island ... so no cell phone service until then. :frown:

Mark, what time does your flight arrive in DFW? I'll probably be driving up from College Station sometime that day, and I think I'll go through the big D. Not sure yet what time, though.

And you'd have to cram whatever you've got into my miata, if it matters.

IIRC, my flight gets in to DFW at 5:03pm. Haven't printed out the itinerary yet. I should do that, huh?:doh:

Right now, I' just focused on getting my junk back together. Pistons are out of the 40, and the steering linkage is coming out of the 45 today...AGAIN!:mad:

5's a bit later than I planned on getting through Dallas, although I wouldn't rule it out if you really want to get to Elwood on Thursday. How much luggage would you have? The trunk isn't exactly large...

Well, now that Butch confirmed that he's got all the gear [including a nice guitar!;)] I'm just gonna borrow a couple of suitcases. Haven't seen em yet, but I imagine they're kinda large.:doh:

I'm fawkin' burned out. Been on the road three weeks ... outta the country for two of 'em. Got me a flight home tomorrow though By Gawd. Got Elwood on my mind ... and I mean BAD. :crybaby:

I'm needin' to get together with a few of my friends ... drink a beer or two ... and enjoy life. :cool:

Best I can figure ... we got us a generator, a buttload of ice, a few s***ters, some t-shirts, O'ficial TLCA insurance, a bad-ass winch, and some piggies to eat. I'll confirm all this s*** when I get home. :cool:

... and I got me a date ... a real woman that we ain't gotta blow up. :eek:

Y'all just bring a good attitude ... rain or shine ... and a lil' somethin' for The Yard Sale ...


And this here deal has all the potential to be yet another LARGE time for The White Trash. I look forward to it Folks. :beer:

Looks like we are gona miss this one also guys.:frown: Dads been in and out of the hospital again and we have a chance to spend the upcoming weekend with the folks in Baton Rouge. Just can't be two places at once. Have a few :beer::beer: for me and we'll see ya down the trail sometime...
 
We should be there Friday am sometime if I can arrange it. Got promoted at work and had to switch shifts. Girls are ready!!!
