Mark, I'll be going through dallas early thursday. Sorry it couldn't work out to get you to Elwood Thursday.

We'll be roll' in Wednesday afternoon.

Kowboy, can ya post up some o'ficial directions for those who have the disabling disease of CRS....

Weather looks like a chance of rain 'bout everyday, but not near as hot as it could be :hillbilly:

Seem like We are going to make this event too, and I mean we because I am coming w/ wife and two kids(4 & 2). Wife and Kids are in up until now, it's going to be interesting trip for me(dealing w/ wife and kids in a long trip.)

Mr. Kowboy Like always, How about a hand w/ driving directions?

How about an address so I can do it on mapquest?

WHere's this going to take place?

Elwood or Bonam?

Don't want to be lost and then you telling me

" That's Poor Planning on your Part Sir!"

Hope to hear from you soon!

The gig's in Elwood. I ain't postin' up directions here but just e-mailed 'em to Mike and JP. If'n anybody else needs 'em ... let me know.

The weather's nothin' short of crazy here. Last year was a major draught ... this year it's like livin' in a rain forest. Unbelievable rain. Be plenty of places to stay dry though with the party tents and the pole barn. Good news is it'll keep it a lil' cooler and settle the dust ... and we get to shoot off some fireworks By Gawd. Bad news is it mite change the schedule 'round some ... but we're purdy flexible on that anyways so no biggie. The REAL bad news is the friggin' mosquitos we got. Biggest damn thangs I ever seen and a whole bunch of 'em to boot. Bring rain gear and a case or two of bug spray Folks. Life is good.

Domek if you're bringin' the family remember to bring more than one chair. :flipoff2:

And since Roger ain't gonna be there to feed us ... ever'body comin' needs to bring a lil' somethin' to throw on the grills.

Doesn't look like we gonna have quite as many members here this year ... just means those of us that do show up gotta better chance at the winch. :grinpimp:

Right now I'm thinkin' most of the games Friday afternoon/early evenin'. 'Nother game or two, pig eatin', Yard Sale, Fireworks on Saturday.

Plenty of time to socialize ... this is meant to be a SOCIAL event after all.

:flamingo:

is it 2029 that we take North into Elwood and Josh's place?

the ARB refridge is here... no more luke warm beer/food/pie!

same date as last year?

I've got the directions too, if anybody needs 'em. And they're damn good directions, I might add. Gonna be hell trying to get the miles right this year, though. The speedo cable on the clown car is broke, so I'll just be guessing at the distances.

Mr. Kowboy got directions already.

I aint' going to worry about the chairs, I will only worry about getting there.

Note: I will ask you for sure tomorrow if you want me to bring something from the border, not so sure yet 'till wife's vacations are approved, (again, no topless dancers)

Thanks!

As of right now ... 25 confirmed members.

So we all got us a 1 in 25 chance of winnin' the winch. :grinpimp:

And the best news is ... looks like between the club's checkin' account and the registration fees ... the event will support itself.

:flamingo:

some how I tought that for this event a lot of people will show.

Talking about reg. fees how much will it be. I knew there was some fees but I don't recall if it was mentioned

Please PM me that info.

Never mind Mr. Kowboy about them fees.

found them

Note: I will ask you for sure tomorrow if you want me to bring something from the border,

Tequila. Do you even have to ask? Josh loves terkillya.:D

Well, I really hate to say it but I am out on this one.

This week we started a repair on the Rail Road bridge and the contractor is still asking a lot of questions about procedures, logistics, US Customs & Mexican Customs laws and all.

I really don't feel too comfortable in leaving them a lone yet.

I would hate to go and then later on receive a call that something happen at work.

Now, I will prolly go to another event this year either Clayton or Redneck gig.

Mr. Kowboy keep my shirt. I still want one

Send me a PM w/ instructions

NOw that my wife had decided to come and meet the WT

may be next time.

looks like a wet weekend.... Casey has first dibs on the spare bunk in the camper.

We're bring'n an enclosed cargo trailer that would sleep at least two and maybe four if it's too wet for tents.

Our plans for get'n on the road today are becoming very hosed-up. We may or may not be in Bonham tonight. If not we'll be there first thing in the morning.

Butch, you want me to bring the wheels and tires by the shop or haul up to Josh's?

Due to work restrictions, Troutwoman and I can't leave till Friday afternoon  (hopefully very shortly after noon).:beer: Can someone PM me directions? :o If not I will find it. Prolly bring frenchie toast for one morning. See all y'all Friday afternoon. :bounce::bounce::bounce2::bounce2:
