2nd Annual Chicago Toyota Jamboree @ The Cliffs July 25, 26, 27

Started on Monday. Worked 13 hours on it Thursday. Came back in 7 AM on Friday. Gave up in disgust at 4 PM

Spring bushings are all shot so the axle still pulls the drive shaft into the trans pan, which now leaks again. Front diff leaks. Engine still won't run under load after new injectors, new O2, new plug wires and a ton of diagnostics. I shoulda just put the carbed intake back on.

I'll be out tonight to hang out and ride bitch on a night run. I have to deliver some parts out anyway.

GREAT EVENT

A lot of improvements from last year

Camp grounds were great. Nice view, quiet

Good turn out as well, about 45 rigs.

The trails were nice and dry...well about as dry as they get there. So most rigs could venture into the interior and see a bit more.

Night activities were also fun, I bet Clint woke up in a cold sweat last night remembering saturday night.

Congrats Clint on winning the winch!

Good Raffle. Thanks Carl from Outback Offroad for donating the truck safe, Thanks to The Cliffs for donating day passes, t-shirts, stickers, 4 50$ gift certificates to JC Whitney, a strap, key chains. Thanks Vicky (Bills/X-factor's wife) for the B.E. COOL ties. Thanks Tony and advanced auto parts for a box of goodies (tools, lights..) I hope i didnt forget anyone.

HUGE thanks to Phil for the BBQ!!! and for trail leading! Also thanks Scott for trail leading. Thanks Tom for leading the hardcore group.

Huge thanks to Steve and Tom and everyone at the cliffs for helping make sure this event was a success!!

Post up your pics!

Thanks to 4rnr for putting this together. Although I was on #1 pretty much the whole time, wish I could've met more of you who were on the more advanced trails, the group I was with were awesome to ride with.
Had to stick to the basics, but there is no doubt - I'm HOOKED!

PhilC64 - I didn't know which one was you until I got home and learned you had the blue 60. I missed the meet n greet.

Thanks to Scott for excellent trail leading/guiding - I need to get that magnet liner for my 100!

BTW there was a white 80 on MTRs who had to leave around lunch time because his dad went to the hospital. Prayers for his dad, and hope he's ok.

Met a couple other 80 guys who were great to ride with. Thanks to Mike - the other black 100 that came out. Sorry bout your rear bumper, it's a great excuse to get a Slee!

Thanks again to everyone for a great time this weekend!

I saw Mike's 100 go through and he's on a 2 in. lift and the water came up right underneath his step sliders. I have no lift so I said screw that noise.
Hopefully not too long til I get my lift. Water, we shall meet again...
