2nd Annual Chicago Toyota Jamboree @ The Cliffs July 25, 26, 27

There is no campsite at the Cliffs except for this one event. They clear a spot for us to camp in the park. Last year it was in the lot. this year it's up on a bluff a couple of hundred yards from the parking lot.

I just got back from the cliffs and me and tom took a look at the camp grounds. I think they are great! plent of room and a ton of trees and bushes and grass. There seems to be a nice breeze up there too. We've got to keep the Atv traffic at a distance. Today Tom mentioned closing the park in the future for this event!!!! But I need to produce more rigs, so spread the word and maybe is a couple years we can have the park to our selves!!!

I'm attending... my 4Runner is in the garage with the tranny/xfer pulled back and the clutch and flywheel removed. Probably won't have it trailworthy until Friday, since I only have after 9:30pm to get the new flywheel and clutch in and other bits/pieces back together, and I need a few hours of sleep before work.
so I'll attend Saturday and Sunday. Man I wish I had another Toyota nut living nearby. Even just someone who knows how to spell rench. (or not).

I'm gonna be wrenchin' like a mofo in the morning. Test drive is gonna be onto the trailer - again.
Gotta get a different hobby. This s*** is getting old.

What the hell are you talking about. If your talking about your meat, yeah I can tuck it away...but I wouldnt consider it bulky.

Thanks for the offers, but I'm not in terrible shape. I'm looking at a couple of hours (hopefully) of buttoning stuff up. I'll get to the shop before 8 and hopefully be at the park by noon.
You store bulky meat? What you do in your free time is something I really don't want to know about.
I'm talking grills, charcoal, weapons used in violent crimes. Use your head boy!

4AM Saturday, my test drive onto the trailer didn't go so well.
Shiny new clutch, check. New pilot and TO bearings, check. 30 lb flywheel, check (was THAT a bitch lifting/pressing onto the crank.)
Um, coolant running out of header onto ground?
Maybe I'll show up and ride bitch.
Or, maybe I'll drink beers 3-7 and sleep in, this sucks.
