I wear many "heads" as I have many vehicles.
Does it have a timing belt or chain? 24 volt with an isolator or is it a 12 volt?

Pretty sure all L family engines are 12v, and yes they have timing belts.
Yup its got a timing belt. While you are at it order and install a water pump (its hidden behind the timing belt cover) and a set of belts. A nice to have is the gasket for the timing belt cover.
