2l and 3l diesels

Does anyone know if these engines share any of the same parts like t belt,timing cog,water pump ect

Not many.

The 2L was slightly modified to become the 2LII series. That morphed into the 2LT-E and 3L. So unfortunately, the vast majority of parts (I've read about 90 percent) do not interchange between a straight 2L and 3L. A lot of parts on the 2LII-T interchange with the 3L though.

Thanks Dan just found out all the timing parts,water pump,seals and valve cover gaskets are all the same as the 2L-T
