Will it fit?

Dudes, I've searched and spend entirely way too much time on this forum. When I read a thread about I think I want...I get distracted by all the "they shoud fit...I have 285/70s with a OME and dropped the...." kinda stuff. Then I get tied up in the 285s because dude's 100 was so killer and forget all about the 275s.

I'm on a budget...I like the taller skinnier tires but I have the fender flares and don't think a 255 would look good. I wanna go bigger than stock so I hope the 275/70r18 BFG MT2s would be perfect.

Will they fit my '04 100? God forbid someone post a pic of this exact setup.:bang::lol:

went with 265s

Regardless if they fit or not, your big problem is the fact BFG does not even make a 275x70x18 Mud-Terrain KM2. BFG does make that size in a All-Terrain KO, which I would highly recommend and is probably the biggest you will fit on a 100 without a lift.

The smallest KM2 tire in 18" they make is the 305x60x18 which will fit stock, might need a 1" hub spacer up front to keep from rubbing on the a-arm or at full lock.

Thanks guys...

Anthony, your absolutely right. I didn't even think about that when I wrote up the thread. I've been so indecisive on rims 16 vs 18....lift vs stock....etc. Amatuer Hour. Sorry folks.

The size is more important than brand. I like the Firestone Destination MTs and BFG ATs but still looking.

I would disagree, personally I would pick the brand and model of tire first. Then once you have the tire you want, pick the right size out of the available options.

I can't say enough good things about the BFG AT's. I've been thoroughly impressed.

Now please excuse the pic whoring, but here is 16" with BFG AT 295x75x16 and no lift (stock) to try and convince you one way or another... :flipoff2:

Look at that shine :censor:

Have you ever been off road:flipoff2:

Once, up a logging road in Eastern WA, in some mud and snow. I haven't had a chance yet for anything else but will soon as I can!

I'm enjoying the shine now, only because I know it will be nothing like that soon. I see plenty of trail pen stripping in my future.

I ran 275/70 18s stock for a while before lifting. No problems.
