The problem with #9 is that the alternator is not providing any power to the batteries when in the 24 volt winch mode. If this is not a requirement you could
accomplish the same with two simple marine type battery switches that will handle the current all day long. The switches would have to be thrown in the correct sequence for winching or charging but even a dummy like me could handle that.
